We all wish for a quiet peaceful productive world around us where hunger does not exist. Seeing people especially children who are hungry but still trying to be brave it’s a thing no one should have to see or experience. How hard it must be for someone, for a parent, to ask for help, how desperate they must feel.

How hard it must be for someone, for a parent, to ask for help, how desperate they must feel.
"When kids are hungry, they have an increased possibility for behavioral issues like hyperactivity, aggression or anxiety. Their moods can change. When they are feeling that physical hunger, it impacts their emotional and their mental well-being, causing them to act out in different ways.
We cannot help everyone but we can help someone. Sometimes a little thing makes a huge difference in a person’s life. Hope can be a great motivator. And that hope was what pushed Manjari Srivastava to start MUFFIN. Fortunate enough to have a great group of people to stand alongside, the dream became a reality.
Change doesn’t happen overnight or alone, it needs consistency, it needs hard work and it takes passion. If you’re passionate about something and ready to take that first step, that’s all it takes. Just a small step in the right direction can make all the difference in the world.

Our aim is to help out as many children as we can so they can focus on learning and staying healthy and happy.

M.U.F.F.I.N. Fund (Mothers United For Families In Need)
The M.U.F.F.I.N FUND partners with the Olathe Public Schools Foundation to help make sure all Olathe children are food secure and cared for. This fund was started by a group of women who wish to make positive changes in the lives of our Olathe community's children.

M.U.F.F.I.N. Fund (Mothers United For Families In Need)
The M.U.F.F.I.N FUND partners with the Olathe Public Schools Foundation to help make sure all Olathe children are food secure and cared for. This fund was started by a group of women who wish to make positive changes in the lives of our Olathe community's children.
There are 90+ members who dedicate their time, funds and efforts to help Olathe children. They provide food, clothing, fees and other support that helps all students to be in school, ready to learn. M.U.F.F.I.N FUND is 100% volunteer based fund.
In addition to accepting donations to support the work of the M.U.F.F.I.N Fund, they also collect material donations throughout the year depending on the need, from clothes, bedding, hygiene products, and winter gear to small household items.
M.U.F.F.I.N Fund founder Manjari Srivastava hopes to serve our children so they can pay more attention to their education instead of worrying about the basics of life. “Together we want to create a community where we can be proud of their achievements and create a loving environment. These children will decide the future of our society and nation. This is the least we can do for them.
